When you call, text, email, book online or request a quote, we collect details you give us such as your name, phone number, email address, property address and job notes.

We use that information to respond, quote, schedule work, invoice and follow up on your job.

Our website uses analytics tools to understand which pages and campaigns bring enquiries. That helps us spend on advertising more sensibly and improve the site.

These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. Providers we use can include PostHog (product analytics on vaske.com.au), Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel when configured.

Analytics data can include pages viewed, button clicks, referral source, device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address. We do not use analytics to make automated decisions about you.

We use analytics to measure enquiries, bookings and quote requests, to see whether ads and gift-card campaigns are working, and to fix problems on the site.

We do not sell your personal information.

When you first visit, a short notice explains that we use analytics. You can opt out at any time using the Opt out control on that notice, or by clearing site data for vaske.com.au in your browser settings.

If you opt out, we stop sending analytics events from your browser. The site still works the same for bookings and quotes.

You can also limit tracking through your browser's cookie settings or industry opt-out tools offered by Google and Meta.

Job and enquiry records are stored in our business systems (including cloud services we use to run quotes, bookings and operations).

We keep information only as long as needed for the job, our records, tax and insurance obligations, or as required by law.

We share information with service providers who help us run the business, such as hosting, email, payments, maps and analytics. They handle data on our instructions.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, staff or customers.

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you can ask for access to personal information we hold about you and request correction if it is wrong.
